Are Jacquie Lawson Cards real?

Each card we make takes anything from a few weeks to several months to complete. Many of the elements of the animation are actually painted by hand (using real paint, brushes and paper!) because the textures and colours achieved that way are so much more attractive than the electronic equivalent.

Sorry, we do not offer downloadable versions of the cards. The cards contain features – such as variable message boxes to allow the sender to customise the message – which can only work when the card is displayed by a web browser.

We can send it for you using our own email service, or you can post it on Facebook, or you can send it by text message (if you’re doing this on your phone), or you can simply copy a link to the card anywhere you like, such as Twitter or other social media, or into a personal email message.
