What is Allergex tablets used for?

Allergex Non-Drowsy is used for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, rhinorrhea (runny nose), and itching of the nose and throat. Is also indicated for the relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) and other allergic dermatoses (allergic skin reactions).

How many Allergex can I take?

Adults and children of twelve years and older: 10 ml (2 medicine measures) One Allergex Non-Drowsy tablet daily 2 1.

Does Allergex have side effects?

Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth/nose/throat, headache, upset stomach, constipation, or trouble sleeping may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Does Allergex have antihistamine in?

They do not contain antihistamines, so they do not cause antihistaminic side effects. They do not relieve other symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Can I take Allergex to sleep?

It is not bad for your health to use Allergax as a sleeping aid but remember that this is not the best sleeping aid available, as Allergax is an anti-histamine. Rather use Zopivaine 7,5mg, at night. Please remember not to use it for longer than 5 to 7 days.

Why does Allergex make you sleepy?

They can cross the blood-brain barrier and inhibit one of the other functions of histamines — that is, the pivotal role they play in regulating sleep and wakefulness. This disruption of the action of histamines in the brain results in drowsiness.

Do not take fexofenadine with fruit juices such as apple, orange, or grapefruit, as this may affect absorption. Take only with water. During the pollen season, your doctor may advise you to take fexofenadine every day if you suffer from seasonal allergic rhinitis.
