What happened to CoCo Key Water Resort?

After a couple shutdowns because of many health code violations and a big drop in revenue, Coco Key Waterpark closed for good in August of 2015. The water park was part of Rockford’s Clocktower Resort, which was completely torn down in 2019. The building that housed the water park is still standing.

Upon entering the water park, people rushed in and quickly found a table to drop their bags and towels at and “claim” as their own. Though the tables filled up fast, they do have a lot of seating. They have lockers if you’d rather lock up your valuables. They also offer cabanas for more private seating.
