Why does PS3 run cooler with external HDD?
One thing i can notice straight away is that PS3 is running a little cooler when i am running games from external hdd. Obvious reason, i can think of is PS3 internal hdd is in congested space in chassis and cannot dissipate heat properly. But with external hdd doing most of the work, internal hdd is spinning lesser and producing lesser heat.
