Put a small jackstand under the right rear Y-arm (right in front of the passenger peg) as high up as it will go with the bike leaned on the stand. Jack up the rear of the transmission, letting the bike “lift” on the Y arm.

How do you remove seat from Buell?
Unlock with the key, grab the back of the seat firmly, and yank up and back. You can’t break anything and once you do it…you will be good to go. Get your fingers under the back of the seat as you turn the key so that you can pull it up out of the latch. Then it will slide back.
