Will Webkinz work without Flash?

Back in May 2019, we released the Webkinz Desktop App, and later in the year we released the Mac version. We are pleased to announce that we will soon be releasing a NEW Desktop App that no longer uses Flash Player at all. This version will allow you to play Webkinz for years to come! And there is no need to wait.

How do I enable Flash on Webkinz?

Here are some steps to help you enable Flash on your browser. In Internet Explorer, select ‘Settings’ in the top right menu, go to ‘Manage Addons’, then ‘Tools’, then ‘Extensions’. Click to enable Shockwave Flash.

Why is Adobe Flash Player blocked on Webkinz?

If you’re having trouble logging into Webkinz when you are using the Google Chrome browser it could be because you or your parents have recently updated your Chrome browser on your PC. Chrome 76 by default blocks Flash in the browser. Ask your parents to update your browser to allow Flash to run for Webkinz.

Is Webkinz Classic shutting down?

Due to an issue beyond our control, as of January 1, 2021, Webkinz Classic will no longer work on browsers. The Flash plug-in, which is required for our site to run will not be supported by browsers after December 31, 2020.

Are they getting rid of Webkinz?

Ganz, the company that owns the Webkinz brand, has announced that it will permanently delete all archived, inactive accounts on October 1st, 2019. If you know someone who still has an archived Webkinz account, they have until the end of September to get it restored before it is permanently deleted!

Is Webkinz still a thing?

Even after the mass deletions, Webkinz will still be around. If you restore your account by the given deadline, you’re free to play the game online as usual, and Ganz even developed mobile and desktop apps to support it well into the future. But it’s not clear if nostalgia alone will be enough to keep the site afloat.

Why is Webkinz not working on my computer?

Due to recent changes in Webkinz World, some players are currently experiencing problems while logging into the game. If this issue is affecting you, please clear your cache, close and restart your browser and then try logging in again. This should help most players.

By downloading and installing the current Desktop App, you will automatically be upgraded to the new version as soon as it is ready. We at Ganz are very proud of Webkinz and have no intention of a little thing like Flash getting in the way of your fun! We will continue to support Webkinz with new items, new pets and all of your favorite events.

How does KinzCash go missing in Webkinz World?

The only way items and KinzCash go missing is if someone else is using your child’s account. Sometimes children share usernames and passwords. We do not recommend this. We suggest that all children keep their passwords a secret. To change the password, please go to the Webkinz World home page and click ‘I’m a Member.’

Where is the secret code on a Webkinz Pet?

Each Webkinz pet comes with its own unique Secret Code and is contained in the tag that is securely attached to every pet when it is shipped to the original retailer. Just as we cannot replace a lost Webkinz pet, we are unable to replace a lost Webkinz tag and the Secret Code that comes with it. The code doesn’t work.
